January of Each Year
Annual Devils Lake Volunteer Fire Dept. Fishing Tournament
Anywhere from 2,000 to 3,000 people gather on the ice at the end of January for the Annual Volunteer Fire Department Ice Fishing Tournament west of Devils Lake on Six Mile Bay. Whether you're catching perch, walleye or northerns, you can’t help but be tempted to purchase a ticket to help a good cause and for a chance at some terrific prizes. Volunteers start drilling holes in the ice starting a 7:00 PM. Competitors take off from a shotgun start at 1:00 PM and have until 3:30 PM. to come in with the catch of the day.

April of Each Year
Lake Region Trade, Craft & Sports Show
Area Businesses display what services and merchandise they offer. There is also a high quality array of crafters set up for display and to sell.

ND Maritime Museum & Dakota Bull Session
Held the 4th weekend of April each year. Annual reunion of men and women who served in the navy, army, air force, marines, coast guard and national guard.  Along with their spouses are invited to attend this annual event.

June of Each Year
Chautauqua Festival
An annual celebration of music, art, dance and drama in the Lake Region. Chautauqua brings in a dazzling series of professional and amateur performers to wow audiences of all ages.

Relay for Life
Relay For Life is a fun-filled overnight event designed to celebrate survivorship and raise money for research and programs of your American Cancer Society. During the event, teams of people gather and take turns walking or running laps. Each team tries to keep at least one team member on the track at all times.  The Lake Region is celebrating our 10th Anniversary of the Relay For Life in 2006.  Come celebrate with us!  Join a team, form a team or come watch the inspirational luminary ceremony at dusk.

Devils Run Car Show
North Dakota's largest specialty car, truck and motorcycle show.  This annual event includes activities such as:  a kick-off cruise, a get acquainted social, morning parade, a poker run, a Collector Car Auction, citywide rummage sale, entertainment, Show-n-Shine, craft show, Swap Meet and many other activities and games.this will be the 16th year for Devils Run Classic Car Show.

Annual Devils Lake Chamber Walleye Tournament
One of North Dakota’s oldest fishing tournament. It is easy to see why this event hooks in fishermen from far and wide when you consider the $5,000 guaranteed grand prize up for grabs! Entry fee for a two-person team includes tickets for banquet and rules meeting and walleye conservation fund donation. Daily cash prizes will be given for the largest walleye and northern. The Last Chance Northern Shootout is held only on Sunday. Awards and presentation of catch daily at Grahams Island State Park.  Free to spectators.

Annual Crazy Days
Area businesses offer many crazy sale prices on merchandise for this 1 day event.  This crazy days event is held July each year.

Ft. Totten Little Theatre
Broadway musicals are presented each summer with professionals and featuring local performers.  Performances are held during the month of July on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.

October of Each Year
Lake Region State College Key Event
Yearly fundraiser to benefit the local college. A fun auction of donated items event held annually at the Memorial Building.
