Who We Are
The Devils Lake Area Chamber of Commerce is the area’s leading advocate in all things business. The internal departments include the Chamber of Commerce, Motor Vehicle and the Tourism Division. We are a fun, creative team that promotes the community of Devils Lake.
We are extending our department and hiring for a Motor Vehicle Clerk position.
We are looking to expand our Motor Vehicle department and hire for a Motor Vehicle Clerk. The job can either be a 20-25 hours a week where hours can be flexible or can be a full-time Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00 position.
Responsibilities:
- Make daily deposit/ Motor Vehicle
- Drop mail off Daily / Motor Vehicle
- Daily report and submission to Bismarck / Motor Vehicle
- Issue titles; title transfers; and duplicate plates; duplicate decals; duplicate titles.
- Take plate inventory
- Issue plates: temporary registration, decals, mobility impaired placards, plates, snowmobile and off highway decals.
- Dealer work
- Communicating with bank vendors via phone or fax
- Put freight away
- Bank reconciliation monthly /Motor Vehicle
- Answering phones/Motor Vehicle
- Other Duties as assigned
Requirements:
We are looking to complement our team with an outgoing, energetic personality.
- Must have valid driver's license and personal vehicle
- Knowledge of working with a computer
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word a plus
- Work in a fast-paced environment
