I am originally from Dickinson, ND, but I grew up coming to Devils Lake to go camping. I met my best friend at the lake and every year we would attend the 4th of July parade and Devils Run. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, going to the lake, traveling, and reading. I work at Total Skin Dermatology & Aesthetics and have been here for 2 years. I work with the best co-workers and each day brings something new. We enjoy attending Chamber events, hosting events for the public and meeting new people. We are hoping to continue attending events in the community this summer.

One of my favorite parts about living in Devils Lake is the feeling of community. Wherever you go, people will stop to make conversation. There are always events happening in the area that will involve people of all ages. Karaoke, concerts, farmers markets, rodeos, fishing, bingo, golfing events, and parades are a few of the events that you can find in town. We have been renovating a house that we recently purchased and the staff at LaMotte's have been so helpful with this, from picking out flooring to paint colors. I can always find the best gifts and decorations here as well. With summer around the corner, I will also be busy picking out plants from the greenhouses in town to make our yard look its best! Another activity that I love in the summer is time spent on the lake. After a long day on the water, we love taking the boat over to Bobbers out by the cove, ordering pizza from their food truck, and hopping back on the boat to watch the sunset. 

You can always find an event indoor or outdoor for people of all ages and know that when you have a conversation with someone, they will always remember you and greet you in the future. Devils Lake is a great town to call home and to make new connections.
