The Devils Lake Chamber of Commerce & Convention and Visitor Bureau (DLCVB), values the privacy of users accessing its website, devilslakend.com. The purpose of this notice is to inform visitors how data information is collected, used, and shared. DLCVB has also included information on how you can access, change, or delete your data.

Personal Identification Information

Unless you knowingly and willingly provide information for the purposes of providing services and requested information, the DLCVB does not collect such information through the website. Personal identification information may be collected through e-newsletter forms, brochure request forms, contests, feedback forms, surveys, and request for proposal forms. Any information collected in this manner will be stored in a secure data processor managed by Simpleview Inc and will be used only for those purposes stated at the time of collection. Data will be kept indefinitely unless you request for it to be removed. A visitor may contact DLCVB to request to have their data deleted. The request may be sent by email to info@devilslakend.com or by mail to Devils Lake Chamber of Commerce, PO Box 879, Devils Lake North Dakota, 58301 and should include First Name, Last Name, Address, and email address to allow for the most efficient removal.

When you choose to submit such information, you are transferring that information into the United States of America and are consenting to such transfer. All data transferred will be/is encrypted via Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure, or HTTPS transfer, through a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). Member Partner: Email marketing is facilitated through Constant Contact and Act-On. A member may choose to opt-in and out of individual email lists or all marketing (commercial) communications through their Constant Contact Profile. All information necessary to maintain and market active members is maintained in a Simpleview database and all transactional emails are sent from the two platforms. Meeting Planners & Visitors: Email marketing is facilitated through Act-On. Planners may choose to opt-in and out of marketing (commercial) emails through their Act-On Profile. All information necessary to process and assist with Requests For Proposals and other group sales functions is maintained in a Simpleview database and all transactional emails are sent from that platform. If you have made public posts from your social media accounts that include our specialized hashtags (eg. #DevilsLakeND, #DevilsLakeChamber,) DLCVB may collect and use the information in those posts. These posts may be shared on our website and visitor guide printing.

Analytics

DLCVB also uses Google Analytics to provide DLCVB and its staff information about how visitors engage with the website so that DLCVB can improve it. You may choose to opt-out of Google Analytics and still have full access to the website.
