Hi, I’m Stacey Heggen—mom of two awesome kiddos, fan of impromptu dance parties, and proud Engagement Director at Devils Lake Cars. Whether I’m brainstorming creative projects, connecting with new faces, or coordinating community events, my heart is all about bringing people together. I believe in the magic of collaboration and that everyone has a seat at the table.

Over the years, I’ve had the joy of getting to know this amazing community through my work on the Lake Region Community Fund Board, and I’ve been blessed to serve on other local boards like the Devils Lake Area Foundation and the Altru Community Committee. I recently joined the Lake Region Suicide Prevention Coalition. I'm also an active member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, where I’ve been involved in music ministry and other opportunities to serve.

“Peopling” is one of my favorite things—yep, that’s a real word in my world. I love learning people’s stories, discovering shared passions, and finding creative ways we can work together for the greater good. Group projects where I can sprinkle in a little creativity? Count me in. From marketing ideas to community events, I enjoy putting my energy into things that help make our area shine.

While I love being outside and soaking in the beauty of nature, I’m definitely someone who prefers perfect temps and minimal bugs—think calm evenings by the lake with a light breeze and zero mosquitoes. I also love music, and I’m a big believer in the joy that comes from spontaneous dance breaks and shared laughs. Whether I’m at work or out in the community, I’m always energized by connection, creativity, and the chance to make a difference together.
