ShiverFest 2026 will be February 21st!

ShiverFest takes place in February every year. It has grown over the years, and in 2020 celebrated its 20th annual event. A rounded weekend of many activities for children and adults, you can take in a youth ice fishing tournament, youth mite hockey tournament, 5K Frozen Fanny run, snow-ga, sledding, cross country skiing, fireworks, food, a vendor show and many other activities.

Winter Wonderland Vendor Show
Saturday, February 21st
10 am - 3 pm
The fun isn’t all outdoors! Pop into The Shores Event Center to shop!
All of your favorite vendors will be inside for a little retail therapy while you warm up from the outdoor festivities.

Shiver Circuit
Saturday, February 21st
10:30 am
Stop in at The Shores for a Shiver Circuit hosted by Lake Region State College's FITT students to keep your body moving and warm!

Snowga
Saturday, February 21st
11:30 am
Stick around after the Shiver Circuit for Snowga with LRSC's FITT students! They'll teach you moves and poses to help relax your muscles and your mind!

Youth Ice Fishing Tournament
Saturday, February 21st
1 pm - 2:30 pm
Participants must be under 16 years of age
$10 Donation
Bundle up those young anglers and head out to Woodland Resort for the annual ice fishing tournament!
Tickets are available now through Friday, February 23rd, at the Devils Lake Chamber and the Devils Lake Fire Department.
Tickets can also be purchased on the ice on the day of the event. Each participant will receive an ice fishing rod, tackle box, bait and tackle.

Hot Chocolate, S'mores, and Firepits

1:30 pm - 3:30 pm
How fun does this sound? S’mores, a warm fire, and a cozy cup of hot chocolate while you're waiting to see who takes home the trophy for the fishing tournament (or you just need a break after Snowga and shopping the Winter Wonderland Vendor Show.) We can hardly wait!

Devils Lake Girls Hockey Steak Fry
Proz Lakeside at The Cove

We can’t think of a better way to warm up after a day full of Shiverfest fun than a steak!
You can grab a ticket from a Devils Lake Girls Hockey member, or at Proz Lakeside.

Fireworks
Saturday, February 21st

We’re closing out Shiverfest Saturday with a bang! The biggest bang yet!
Bundle up your friends and family and join us on the beach for fireworks under the winter sky on beautiful Devils Lake. Thanks to our fabulous sponsors, it will be a show you do not want to miss!
