Cross Country Skiing

The Lake Region offers a couple of different areas for Cross Country Ski trails. Grahams Island State Park offers groomed trails starting at the Sivert Center. Just make sure to stop by the office and grab your day pass if you don’t have a yearly ND State Park Pass. Creel Bay Golf Course also offers trails during the winter months, and is free to use.

If you are a military personal, or veteran, Camp Grafton has ski trails for you to use.

If you don’t have your own skis, don’t fret! You can rent them daily at Gerrells Sports Center in downtown Devils Lake for $10 a day. They will fit you and you can be on your way to enjoy your day in the snow.

Snowshoeing

During certain Saturdays of the winter, White Horse Hill offers free snowshoe rentals to get you out in the snow and enjoying nature on the hill!
