Artists’ Reception
21 and over
This year’s event kicks off inside the Heritage Center on Friday evening at 7 with an artists’ reception. Come in and see the art in this year’s show and meet some of the artists from all over North Dakota and beyond. This year’s judge, Anna Jacobson of The Arts Center in Jamestown, will be giving a short speech on submissions. All art is available for purchase, and serious art buyers will want to arrive early.
Local band, Silver Lake Freak Show, will be playing in the back parking lot and refreshments will be available to enjoy while you browse and mingle.
There will be new artists in the show this year. Cody Ptacek has submitted hand carved and painted fishing lures and will also have a booth with lures available to purchase on Saturday.
Jen Parker has submitted new art for the show, and Devils Lake Native Amber Fletschock will return with collage pieces. There are too many artists to mention in one article, so you will need to come in to see them all!

Outdoor Festival
All Ages
We will take it to the streets (and the park) on Saturday! Bring your family downtown for a day of fun with food, shopping, and entertainment. A variety of makers will have handmade art and goods available for sale. Clyde the Food Truck will be there serving up great food, and local non profits will be selling some goodies too.
Live entertainment begins at 11 am with the Lake Region singers and Native American dancers and will continue throughout the day with various artists performing.
There will be plenty to keep the kids entertained as well! Balloon animals, henna (temporary) tattoos and more!
