Calling all Clark Griswolds! The “Let It Glow” holiday lights competition is back!
The Devils Lake Chamber of Commerce wants to see our beautiful city lit up with holiday joy! Everyone is welcome to enter their decorated home or business in the competition for a chance to win prizes, and more importantly, bragging rights for an entire year.
Voting begins Monday, December 7th, so you’ll want your home ready by then. Entry forms are available at the Chamber office, on the Devils Lake Chamber Facebook page, and on our website: www.devilslakend.com.
Once you are registered, you will receive an entry number that must be displayed in your yard.
All registered homes are mapped out by entry number and are shared on our social media pages and on the website here. A digital option is also available by focusing your smartphone camera on the QR code that is placed on the bottom of the map. By doing this, your smartphone should alert you to open Google Maps, where you should be taken directly to a digital version of the map.
Beginning December 7th, the public can vote for their favorite display by texting the home’s entry number to 508-433-9500. Only one vote is allowed per phone number, so choose wisely! You can also submit a vote by going to www.tallyspace.com/vote/10809
Voting begins December 7th and ends December 27th. Winners will be announced the week of December 27th.
All homes will be competing for prizes in 3 separate categories:
People’s Choice - $250 in Chamber Bucks - chosen by the public via text.
Best in Show - $150 in Chamber Bucks - chosen by our generous sponsors.
Clark Griswold (most lights) - $100 in Chamber Bucks - Chosen by Mayor Johnson. (You could try buttering him up with cookies, but we won’t guarantee it will score you a win.)
