Did you know that Devils Lake hosts North Dakota’s largest indoor cornhole tournament, in which teams from around North Dakota and surrounding states travel to Devils Lake to compete in? Not only is the event a popular cornhole tournament but there is a raffle drawing with over $50,000 in prizes, beer gardens, food concessions, and a live band at the end of the tournament making it a fun weekend to be in Devils Lake, ND.

The 4th Annual ND Ice Hole Extravaganza is happening on April 9th and 10th, 2021 at the Burdick Area.

By purchasing a $20 raffle ticket, and a small tournament registration fee, you can register for the cornhole tournament, enter to win prize drawings, and see the live band. Tickets can be found at several businesses in Devils Lake or visit the event website at http://ndicehole.com/.

The weekend hosts two tournaments and you can participate in one or both of them. The Five-Hole Mixed Division is held on Friday April 9th at 6pm. It is a mixed division, meaning there must be one male and one female on each team. This is a more relaxed style tournament with a $500 guaranteed first prize payout. The Top Shelf Division is held on Saturday April 10th at 10am with a guaranteed payout of $1250 for first place with payouts guaranteed for the top three finishing teams. This is an open division tournament meaning you can have two males, two females or a combination of players. The Top Shelf division is a more competitive tournament. Each player must purchase a raffle ticket, be 18 or over, and register their team online at ndicehole.com with an additional $10 entry fee per player for both tournaments.

In addition to the cornhole tournament, the event is combined with a raffle where you have a chance to win over $50,000 in prizes. When you purchase a $20 ticket, you are entered into the raffle drawing that starts at 7pm at the Burdick Arena on Saturday April 10th. The grand prize is a 2021 Can-Am Defender and includes 80 other prizes including items such as tools, electronics, hunting gear, cash, and gift cards. You do not need to be a participant in the cornhole tournament or be present at the event to win any of the raffle prizes.

Following the Top Shelf Division tournament on Saturday April 10th, the popular North Dakota band 32 Below will be playing live at the Burdick Area from 9pm to midnight. You must be 21 or over to stay for the live band portion of the event and have purchased a $20 raffle ticket but you do not need to be a participant in one of the cornhole tournaments to enjoy the live band.
